SUBLIME COMBINATION, PERFECT COMPLEMENT! A CENTURIES-OLD TRADITION,

ACCOMPANIED BY THE TASTE AND SMELL OF "BEAUTIFUL" GRILLED SARDINES!

The embers, the stoves, the heat of the crowds, which sometimes gather and sometimes disperse like a synchronized shoal, forming a unity where the state of mind converges in joy and conviviality.
From north to south in Portugal, popular festivals, always accompanied by grilled sardines, have become a trademark, a Portuguese stamp in its entirety, accepted by all classes, parties and religions.

Tensai has let itself be "carried away" by this secular theme and, using its silk-screen printing technique (bypassing the polluting and less durable vinyl/plastic method applied to household appliances), has launched two exclusive, limited-edition models with this rich theme, so visceral in our history and homeland.
Popular festivals "breathe" color, texture, liveliness, dance, joy, communion and sharing, without beating around the bush or looking to social conventions.
Then it becomes clear that a fridge with a neutral, "naked" and indifferent appearance is antagonistic to this whole motto.

HERE'S THE FIRST IDEA:

A rich visual pattern, very much in the style of the popular event, personifying the crowds, where there is an undeniable individuality to each mind, but also an osmotic connection of moods and spirits. The festive elements and objects characteristic of this date, such as the basil, the lights, the handmade decorations, the glasses of sangria, wine and beer in a unison toast, are woven into this human fabric, as part of itself, of everyone. The sardine brings flavor and color to all these categories, and one cannot exist without the other, nor can one exist on its own.

As the party goes on until the early hours of the morning, there's always the need to replenish your energy, to sustain your mind and body, as "tradition dictates".
Accompanying the hustle and bustle, the vibrating footsteps, the mesh of voices and smiles, the sardines enter fearlessly and are craved by anyone who sets foot on the street on the night of the popular saints.

This is exactly how we present it, "roasted and eaten". An essential icon, an unrecognizable symbol synonymous with "parties and revelry". The bright, intense colors of the whole event blend perfectly with this snack, and in the end... all that's left is the spine!
